I picked up a beautiful big female carpet python this weekend. She's about 6 feet plus. She hasn't been handled a lot so she's not super tame, but I think if I work with her a bit she will get used to handling. She just hisses a lot. I've been looking at tons of pics of carpet pythons and I would guess that she's a Coastal but it's really hard to tell.

She was very interested in the light bulb for some reason :)

I'm the owner of a Diamond/Coastal carpet python, and I searched for weeks looking for the right kind of carpet for me. It definitely looks like a coastal...how old is it? It might be the camera angle, but she looks pretty thick for a carpet python. Very nice.

She is pretty chubby. I dont know how old she is unfortunatley. She could be jungle x coastal cross. I saw a pic of one on a UK forum and it looked a lot like her. She has a lots of reflective rainbow scales too. Really pretty.
I got her from my friends room mate. Someone else that was living with them moved out and left her behind. I handled her today for a few minutes. She hissed a lot but didn't try to bite. I think if I handle her a few minutes a day she'll get better.
I used a Canon S5 IS. It takes pretty good pics sometimes. I'm not a very good photographer though, but I'm learning :p

Diamond/Coastals will get anywhere between 6-8 feet long, but usually remain thin so the length doesn't really feel all that big. This one is rather thick, though. =p

Her head pattern looks like it has some Jungle influence to it.

Nice snake, though.
