canned food

i was at the pet shop today after work and i saw canned worms, crickets and grasshoppers. are these ok to feed my inverts, given that there arent any additives?

I saw these a few days ago, too. I don't see why they wouldn't be okay for them. I was thinking of trying them on my inverts.

i just got some and opened a Can O' Grasshoppers. it smells like Alpo. Are grasshoppers naturally tough, with an exoskeleton? these are marketed for reptiles, birds and fish. That alpo like smell is making me 2nd guess this. the only ingredients the list are "farm raised grasshoppers (Valanga Nigricornis). Not for human consumption."
