It's a G. rosea. I was told it was a female, is it?

check my post of "grammostola molts" in the tarantula forum. I took pictures of molts from a g. rosea and a g. pulchra, both are females.Originally posted by sunnymarcie
Well, I tried for a better picture and could not get one![]()
@ caligula~ Describe what that "THINGY" should look like.
The furrow line is curved and the "THINGY" is smooth.
Difficult to tell for me. I am trying to learn how to do this myself.
Is there a way to soften the molt back up? The molt is about a week old. Can I just soak it in something?
kinda reminds me more of a half of a taco shell........it is harder to take pictures of than I thought it would be, I also used a toothpick on one picture to hold the "flap" open but that did not work too well either................Originally posted by caligulathegod
Yeah, it's not so much "curved and straight" as it's like your pant's pockets when your pants are inside out.
