Recently bought a Phiddipus Regius Sexed Male, this is the first spider I have kept, i was wondering what are the rules for communal housing, im not sure if he is mature or not but he is about 6-8mm in size, I have heard they become less active and interested in food and are just often in search of a mate, can you pair 2 male jumping spiders in the same enclosure, or will it cause conflict/cannibalism. If not, I would get a female too however there would be a lot of babies and i'm not sure if i can take care of all of those successfully. Also have heard that the females will often cannibalise the males after courtship. Or should i just go with seperate enclosures if i am to get a second spider?

Never put them in the same enclosure. Period. (Unless for breeding, but that is risky.)
