Wow you guys are good tyvm...Its winter soon so do you think it would be a good idea to catch her for the winter and let her go in spring? Also I have kept T's for 6 years but know little about spiders. Do they molt like T's and behqve in a sikilar way? Well Ive decided not to be lazy and to just google it lol thanks again I appreciate your help! Cheers

They molt as they grow but stop molting once they reach maturity. (This one looks like a gravid female, so she may make an egg sac but won't molt.) Their lifespan is 1-2 years.

Wheee...Iam so interested in learning about the who reproductive side of spiders and tarantula...I have her and was able to keep the bulk of her web in the large container..I would love to see her weave an egg sac! Thanks again for the info..this will be exciting
