I agree, but its a useful teaching tool for this subject. The first time i watched the video, i cringed the whole time.
However, it was an L. hasselti in australia, so theres a pretty big abundance. If there was a species for him to test with there, thatd be it. Not that it justifies torture, but at least there wont be risk of damage to the population.
