Can tarantulas be conditioned?

Very interesting, I didn't think it would be possible.

Gigantea is easier than most, mine was a lot more prone to biting stuff than typical for the species even. That being said I've seen people work with Scolopendra heros to the point they allow petting and handling that would tick off even the most docile spiders, and normally they are far from handleable.
