He didn't make it I think he was dying when I found him under a garbage bag in a laundry room. Most of the houses here are raised and I think there could be more under the house he was caught at I have never seen a spider like this here in my area. New Orleans Louisiana

I agree, this is Tegenaria species and I suspect T.domestica because as far as I know, T.pagana isn't found in Louisiana.
