I have these snails from the petstore that you add to your fishtank in with my African Dwarf Frogs in a 5.5 gallon. I got the snails last night and they still haven't come out of their shell. I'm thinking they need extra heat, so can I use a zoomed under tank heater for them?

Here is a picture of one of them. http://hassman789.deviantart.com/#/d39dxfe

UTH are not meant for use with aquariums that contain water, use an aquarium heater.

They came out without a heater (I'll still probably get one)

I'm going to test out the picture "embedding" thing, so I'll post a picture of it.

Is this a Golden Mystery snail? I keep mine in an unheated aquarium in my bedroom. It comes out fairly often and its betta roommate doesn't bother it.

You probably don't need a tank heater. Room temperature is about 72 degrees and up to 78 in the summer.
