I have a colony of orange heads, but only 2 male hissers. Can I keep these together to save room, or will the orange heads chew on the hissers? Has anyone done this?
It is never a good idea to keep two species of roaches together. Sooner or later one species will molt and the other will eat the molting one. All species of roach compete to dominate a nich. As far as I know the only two to ever be found occupying the same living space and the same foods have been Periplaneta australasia and Pycnoscelus surinamensis, and even then there is no telling if one was feeding on the other at all....
