calling ball python morph experts

i just purchased a so called "normal" BP... now it looks completely different from my normal bp and all other normal BPs ive ever seen so i bought it. I paid $67 for it. im asking if its a morph and if so how much is it worth.
heres the pics the larger snake is my normal BP

Simply looks like a really pretty ball python to me. I thought the same about mine... some are just better looking than others! Perhaps some better lighting would give a true showing of the colors, it looks pretty light, dont think it would be light enough to be pastel at all though.

I dont have any morphs but I spend many many hours dreaming of them and doing research... someday... someday I'll get into breeding them.

Are you planning on breeding the new snake? Because morph or not its quite attractive and could make some nice looking babies :D

yes i hope as soon as they mature and i havnt got them probed yet so who knows could be male and male or female and female w/e the case may be ill def be breeding it.

Nope it's a "normal". Nice coloration though. I have one with a very similar golden appearance.

ya i emailed a pic to ballpythons.com and they have tons of pythons but they do have normal BPs but with a certain patterns that are listed so im guessing its sum sort of normal BP but with some kind of different pattern. but thanks guys for the input

a morph comes with genetical traits not something random that can't be sure
it is the one commonly called the "busy pattern"

yea. even breeding that wont garuntee anything, but with such a pretty specimen it could still have gorgeous babies.

Sometimes you do luck out at store. I remember once they had a ball that looked odd at a pet store near me. It was $350. Turned out to be a spider ball python. Kind of wish I had bought it now, but at the same time it didnt look in the greatest of health so who knows.

tis just a normal bp with a different pattern. my het albino male has a similar pattern.
