Just purchased one, and I was wondering what the best substrate would be, (I was thinking along the lines of peat moss), and how I could get them to burrow near the glass.
I think peat moss would be O.K. as to keeping the burrow against the glass, are you familiar with ant farms. Some people put a smaller container inside a larger one leaving an area of about 3/4 of an inch between the two that is filled with substrate. The spider burrows in this and is kept up against the glass. Hope this helps.LOLNF Spiders said:Just purchased one, and I was wondering what the best substrate would be, (I was thinking along the lines of peat moss), and how I could get them to burrow near the glass.
Make a burrow for them against the glass and see if they like itNF Spiders said:Just purchased one, and I was wondering what the best substrate would be, (I was thinking along the lines of peat moss), and how I could get them to burrow near the glass.
