Hey guys my adult female C. Lividus has a tiny droplet of brownish fluid in the very center of her carapace where horned baboons have their horn, it's like right in the center where the thorax comes together, I suspect hemolymph but she has never been dropped and she can't climb anything in her terrarium as the substrate is almost to the top, it wasn't there then like 5 min later after eating a big Dubia I noticed it, it is just a tiny tiny little droplet but how would she be leaking in the very center of her carapace without an injury?

I’m afraid I can’t answer, but thanks for sharing. Following with interest and wishing the best for your spider.

It’s fine. Just ectoplasm. Dab some cornstarch on there just for good measure.
