My C. excilicauda gave birth last week. She only bore 7 scorplings, is it normal?
I didn't removed the male with the mom & kids, is it ok?
Now they are scampering around (babies), should i leave it as it is? :?

thanks guys,
Emmanuel

They will surely get eaten by their parents or siblings. You need to separate them. Provide vertical climb for better molting.

6 is a very small litter for Centruroides in general and also for this species. I your specimen is not from Baja, California it is probably C.sculpturatus (the name changed back to this a while ago).
Separate your young because if one species is cannibalistic, this species is!

Also keep them a little more humid than the adults. Although they are a desert sp they occupy moist niche in their natural habitat
