C elegans mature male question

My male Cyriocosmus elegans molted out mature mid March of last year and he’s still kicking and eats occasionally even though he looks like absolute trash. I honestly didn’t expect him to last so long after maturing so quickly (he was 4-5i when I got him and he matured 11 months after that) but he was my first one, so I’m curious.

How long have other mm C elegans lasted for people?

Good question. I was just asking myself the same question. I've got a MM C. ritae that I got as a tiny sling and he matured only half a year later after 6 moults on 12/12/18.
Fast forward 13 months and he's still very much alive and kicking, and even eating once in a while (his last meal was 3 weeks ago). Is this normal for such a small species? o_O

I've had a couple of these guys mature male on me, and both lasted a year or perhaps a bit more afterwards, though by the end they weren't eating much and were pretty scrawny looking.
