IMG_3411.JPG I know this can happen. I'm assuming it's okay to just leave it be? My P met sling doesn't seem to have any issue with digging up every ounce of substrate it can. So I assume it'll find it as the Roach goes scavenging.

Be careful because if they get hungry enough they can kill a molting T

if the spiders in premolt remove the roach asap. if not, and you're sure it will eat, leave it be.

I personally wouldn't leave a roach in with a sling, since they molt more often and are thus more prone to damage when the roach decides to take a nip.

No signs of pre-molt. Voracious eater. I just MISSED when I dropped the roach. So it didn't get grabbed ASAP.

Personally, unless I'm feeding off a mature male dubia, I always crush the heads. They still run around and put up a fight when caught (and even occasionally burrow), but their crushed head will prevent them from causing any harm to even a molting tarantula.

Just a thought for the future.
