Hi Chris,

is this from Ray's eggsac?
Yes, it is. Thanks Ray :)

Today was the first time I saw an adult female in person. It was actually much larger than I expected.

but they do not appear to be efficient at all, at least not on me. I had full of them on my hands and no reaction at all and I normally really react strongly at urticating hairs.

Fartkowski, well they are in North America, Eric and Chris are in the US!

Nice spiders

Martin,

Yeah, you may be right...when I wrote that it seems I had gotten some on my neck. It didn't last long and other than that, no real problems at all...

But they will kick like crazy!

Wow, glad to see these little buggers on this side of the pond, and in some of
the best hands possible. :D

Thanks! And the adult female has a male that she's waiting for...he just needs to hurry up and mature. Though I have heard that they are very hard to breed in captivity...and the slings supposedly grow even slower than Aphonopelma!

I didn't think it was possible to grow slower than Aphonopelma. But I have some Euathlus that are testing that theory.
