OK - can anyone tell me what species this is? It lives in AZ. Is around 4 - 6 inches. It is also bright green all over. I have a friend out there that is used to seeing the normal deserts scorpions that abound there. She has never seen this one before and is concerned about her animals. She said it lived in a hole and come rushing out when she flooded the hole by accident while watering her horses. She also said it was agressive.

sounds like pale or 'pallidus' morph of H. arizonensis, that's the only thing that would get that size besides a really large S. mesaensis, which is usually more in the 3" range...either way, tell her not to worry about her animals as the venom is not strong in either species...
