I have 3 WC females that look like they will give birth. Both as far as me breeding no. Haven't had the chance yet. The gestation period for v. carolinianus is fairly long, usually 12-14 months, according to G. Polis.
I have a breeding pair. They seem to do fairly well, really not picky and although they are skittish they seem to drop youngn's with little fuss. I had a batch of babies born last night, posted the pics in the gallery just now.
If I had to guess, about 20-25 of them, but they're pressed so hard against oneanother it's hard to tell. Here's a pic link from my posting on bugguide.net
