Each Genus and some times each species has different requirements to breed, lay, and hatch their egg sacs. Be aware of your environment, and document everything. Temp, humidity, barometric pressure, hours of sun light, how much you are feeding and when.

There is a lot of information out there, not all of it good. Some species are pretty point and click (drum and insert?) others require modifying the above factors at specific points in the process to trigger a given event.

Good Luck!

Well P.irminia are quite easy to produce in captivity. As are most of the other Psalmopoeus species. No special conditions are really required with them to get females to lay an egg sack. They are also very good mothers so it is ok to leave the egg sack to hatch with mom if your worried about incubating. One thing I will note tho is that females can sometimes have a tendency to eat the males so you may wanna be careful with that!
Its also not uncommon for Psalmopoeus to doubleclutch on you to so its possible to get more than one egg sack out of a breeding ;]
Hope that info helps you and good luck!
