I was thinking of getting a breeding pair of T. Bastosi, but I have never breed this sp. before, are they easy to breed, can I keep the male with the female or do i need to watch them? The only scorps I have breed were Heterometrus and pandinus sp. so this would be new for me.
I was also thinking of O. glabrifrons and would like to know the same thing eith this sp.

I am hoping to when mine get older. I have two, one 2nd instar and one 3rd. I have heard that they aren't as easy to breed as T. silvestris or T. magnimanus.

thanks for the info, is it the same with breeding T. Obscurus? or is it easier? I was thinking of trying T. obscurus instead if it is easier, personaly these are one of my favorite looking scorps.
I don't know, wait until Michiel gets on, he keeps these scorpions. As you probably know, both should be considered highly venomous...

I have heard that T. magnimanus is an extremely prolific breeder, but that particular species is not what you are looking for. I tried to help.;):):D

They are not that difficult to breed. Important thing is maintaining the adequate high humidity and raising the young individually. Sometimes females die shortly after giving birth happened with two females of mine that reproduced in 2009....

You have T. obscurus? If you do, I would definitely say breed them (if you are able to).;)
