I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone here breed their hornworms? I've heard it's not too hard but they require a 17 hour daily light cycle. They're my favorite feeder to use but I don't want to keep paying for them

There is a great thread on another forum with info. Here it is: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/hornworm-breeding.77959/

I tried doing it, it was not fun at all. All the moths had their wings deformed, despite having high enough humidity. I had to handfeed all 10 every day. It was horrible. They thrashed and thrashed, it took forever to get them to eat. You also need a huge cage. I'm sure it can be done, but it's not for me.
I'd say try with a few hornworms at first. The less moths, the less space and time they need. You could get the hang of them and see if breeding them is something you want to do.
