Tomorrow's the big day. First tarantula breeding. Any advice you can offer re: breeding in general and chalcodes specifically would be greatly appreciated.

And what is all this hoo-ha about a "cooling off" period for the female afterward? A month? at 50 degrees? are you kidding me? Dang, y'all, it's 104 outside here in New River, and likely to remain so for another six weeks. Local wild chalcodes are breeding now, and there won't be any 50 degrees around here until January, if then! Please explain.
