I'm a noob to tarantula keeping. One if the first things I learned from researching on day one was NO MESH. I took great pains to steer clear of mesh. I'm glad I saw this video because now I know that without a doubt mesh is not for tarantulas under any circumstances.
So, for the person who posted this thread...you seem like you want to do the right thing for your tarantula. That's good.
Get rid of that mesh asap.
