Since I brought home one more scorpion, which is Leiurus quinquestriatus, and is from @ArachnoDrew, I just decided to make the thread about my scorpions:

• Hadrurus arizonensis
• Leiurus quinquestriatus

This thread will be keep updated as I progress through.

This tiny Leiurus quinquestriatus is surely hungry.

It's been three and a half months, did you forget about this thread or has nothing happened involving your two scorps?

No way, I would never forget this thread. Unlike my tarantulas, both my scorpions are still the same. No molts, no nothing.

I will surely update once I find anything going on. :angelic:

After good four months almost, Leiurus quinquestriatus molted for the first time under my care. Though it’s too bad that I did not get to watch it molt, but I am glad that it molted, and molted well.

I rehoused Leiurus quinquestriatus to larger enclosure, so it can freely roam around and enjoy.

I rehoused Hadrurus arizonensis into larger enclosure. So if it molts, hopefully soon, it can enjoy much larger space.

Hadrurus arizonensis was avoiding to eat for more than four months, and today it finally ate. So happy I am.

Tityus stigmurus molted. Whole process took about roughly five hours.

It was interesting to watch that, unlike other scorpions in general, this one gets out of the old skin half way, and let the body gets harden, then proceeds to the other half and finishes.

At last, one of Parabuthus vilosus ‘orange’ molted, and molted well. It took almost eight months. It grew so much too.

Another Parabuthus villosus orange is ready to molt. Fingers crossed for it’s successful molting.

I rehoused four of my scorpions (One Leiurus quinquestriatus, and three Parabuthus villosus orange) to newer enclosures with more height, to be safe, and this time around, I used different substrates than white sand, just to see if they behave any differently from this.

And fed them afterward!

Tityus stigmurus, previously molted on 02/14/2021, molted yesterday. It’s always so amusing to experience / watch / observe molting.
