I was able to capture a California Trapdor spider male.
I have no idea how to take care of him.
Does anybody have any suggestion?

If you haven't a female ready to mate, I think you can leave it, cause it will not live so much, neither it will eat so much being adult...

i agree, mature males don't make that great of a pet. better to let them find females and make the babies.

p.s. i'd be interested in knowing where you caught it at, as brea isn't that far from me. i can tell you where i catch centipedes and scorpions around me.

nice. i am interested in my local species too. i think it would be a large advantage to try to breed local species that are well tied into the seasonal cycle

I know, I 'm a fan of your field trip reports in the wasteland..... :worship:

Do you know anyone with a "friendly" female?
