Does anyone have these in their collection? I was able to sex mine as a female so would like to keep in touch with other keepers of this species for when they mature.
Do they tend to be more fossorial than a Brachypelma? The other person I run my business with has one
I'm not sure, I've only seen the behavior of one 1-2" spider but brachys seem to vary by species, age, and individual so I can't make a statement like that. This one B vittata seem to burrow thoDo they tend to be more fossorial than a Brachypelma?
Mine has never burrowed at all. It just webbed up on a piece of cork bark that is leaned on the side of the enclosure. It does sit out alot but is skittish.Do they tend to be more fossorial than a Brachypelma?
I was really surprised by them.Been really interested in this genus. Some of them literally live among Brachypelma in the wild.
