Does anyone have these in their collection? I was able to sex mine as a female so would like to keep in touch with other keepers of this species for when they mature.

Do they tend to be more fossorial than a Brachypelma?
I'm not sure, I've only seen the behavior of one 1-2" spider but brachys seem to vary by species, age, and individual so I can't make a statement like that. This one B vittata seem to burrow tho

Mine has never burrowed at all. It just webbed up on a piece of cork bark that is leaned on the side of the enclosure. It does sit out alot but is skittish.

The neat thing about them is they get adult coloring around 1.5”. Mine is stunning.

Been really interested in this genus. Some of them literally live among Brachypelma in the wild.
