Hey, I'm just about to get a juvenile Blue-tongue skink. I already have bearded dragons, which are really tame and quickly adjusted to handling. Do blue-tongue skinks similarly adjust well to handling, at least in most cases?

Yep... blue tongue skinks will adjust to proper handling just like a Beardie. Have you been to www.bluetongueskinks.net ? It's a nice, informative forum dedicated to all of the Bluey gang and there are quite a few Aussies on there, too. :)

I haven't held a blue tongue lizard myself but I do notice they become very friendly towards people with repeated offerings of food from human hands. I have kept sleepy lizards (also known as stump tail lizards and shingle back lizards) and they become very tame and hand holdable. Though there was one particular sleepy who never seemed to become completely tame. But he / she tolerated people.
