He will find them in Arizona. They prefer habitats that are undisturbed by humans. State parks make excellent collection grounds. He can walk trails at dawn with a headlamp to find them walking out and around, or he can flip over rocks and logs to find them during the day. I've seen them sell for between $5 and $15 each.
