Hello. General feeding advice for B. Giganteus often mentions that they eat decaying plant matter. Does this mean that I should give them fruit and allow it to go mouldy? Last week I accidentally left an orange in for too long and it got very mouldy, but the roaches were all over it regardless. Now I don't know if I should be giving them mouldy fruit on purpose lol.

Though do be aware Madagascan hissers ( although different species) only take fresh fruit so that could ne the case

I would be careful giving rotting food. The mold could spread through the enclosure and attract maggots, fruit flies, mites, etc. Also smell. I’ve never owned that species though
