Blaberus giganteus ID confirmation

Hello,

Here are some pictures of what I believe to be Blaberus giganteus. I know that there are some crosses out there but these should be the real deal. Or at least I'm hoping. I think they came from stock out of a university. That's about all I know about them.

well they look like blaberus gigantius...all i can gaurente is that they are blaberus!:D

Thanks for the replies everybody. It's comforting to know that they appear to be the real thing.

These are great roaches to keep as pets. They're pretty neat really. I think the only two adults I have now are males but one day the others will molt and I'll get some offspring. They do live fairly long for roaches if I remember correctly.

They produce a little bit of scent but it doesn't bother me at all.

i love their defencive smell
they do breed well under the right conditions
a friend of mine used them as feeders for a really long time

Mine make a "gassy" noise before they release a rotten egg smell, it's quite the experience if their close to your face.
