Blaberus discoidalis w or w/o substrate?

Hi,
for those that keep Blaberus discoidalis, do you keep them with some subtrate or without the substrate?
do you keep the substrate moist or dry?
I am new to this and so any advice on their housing is greatly appreciated.
if i keep them with some of my male B. giganteus, would they hybridize or cross breed?

I keep mine without substrate, and dry. Don't know about hybridization, but I personally don't mix species. One or the other species will get outcompeted for food and space, and you'll end up with just one. The whole point of having multiple species is variety.
