It seems like a scab/scar on the leg. Should disappear within the next molt or two. Is this a WC specimen? Also, make sure the sub is damp.

I'm sorry, but why would you think that a physical injury is the result of stress or humidity? It's probably neither one of those things.

It just looks like an old injury to me, very common in wild caught specimens. As has been said, it'll clear itself up after it molts. So long as the wounds aren't leaking anything, there isn't much cause for alarm.

thats a bald spot, they look a little different on theraphosa.

oh lmao.

yeah, a leg wound is usually nothing to worry about. it looks like it may have scraped it against something, sharp objects arent safe in T cages.
