Binomial nomenclature Question

My favourite is Aphonopelma Davemustainei -- all tarantulas should be named after Megadeth.

Lol, I'm a fan of Aphonopelma johnnycashi.

Another favorite I thought of (although not an arachnid) is Strigiphilus garylarsoni. This is a louse that was named after the creator of the Far Side comics. In Gary Larson's book The Prehistory of the Far Side, he had this to say about it:

"I considered this an extreme honor. Besides, I knew no one was going to write and ask to name a new species of swan after me. You have to grab these opportunities when they come along."
