Go look through the rubbermaids/plastic storage bins at your local wal-mart or something. Find one that's big enough (they come in ALL sizes), cut a door in one side, make sure there's no sharp edges, and there you go.

It won't look pretty, but I don't think the snake will care. ;)

A friend of mine uses a small cat litter box, that fits in her tank, with a door cut in the side, for her 5' full grown ball pythons. For mine, I use a brick that I halved lengthwise, for the sides, and a pretty piece of slate for the roof, and it fills up about a quarter of her tank. Bonus, the slate gets warm under her basking lamp, and she lays around on it.

Why not use a big cardboard box.... you could tape it to the floor if its too light...

If the enclosure is being kept at all humid, the box will become a mold and bacteria paradise in no time flat. That and the boa will most likley crush it.

i had thought about that...but as was pointed out..it WOULD become a haven for mold and parasites because i mist everyday and the humidity is around 75-80%. but not a bad idea at all otherwise. :D
