Berta Fin Rot?

Does my Betta have fin rot guys? When I wake up for the morning I always see a new large tear on its tail

Hard to tell, don't think so though. Any sharp objects in the tank?

Maybe not but he might be biting his fins if they're too long. ALso, how's the pH of your tank?

What are the results of testing his water parameters?
Is he kept with any other creatures?
How long has he been in this setup?
Do you have sponges on his filter's intake and outflow?

A clearer pic of him and a full tank pic might be helpful, if possible.
