About a month ago I ordered red runner roaches (blatta lateralis) from dubiaroaches.com and with them I got a whole lot of these beetles. When I noticed them I thought they were some sort of clean-up crew. They are reproducing pretty fast and they do share the food that I give to the lats. I was just wondering if these are in fact helpful because they clean up or if they are bad and I should get rid of them/how. Thanks :) image.jpeg

From what I've read they help decompose. So they do clean up the dead roaches...?

I've had them hitch hike on an order of roaches as well. Just think of them as a bonus

Dermestid beetles are of no harm to live roaches, and act as an effective cleanup crew. I wouldn't let them in my house though because I have a vast dead insect collection that the beetles would just see as a buffet on skewers.
