Hey just have a simple question,I have never took care of beetle grubs before but i hear its pretty easy. I got two Glorious Scarb grubs in a leaflitter wood substrate thats damp i know

and every once in awhile or when i come home from work i see them wriggle out of the substrate and wiggle on the surface for a bit. Is this normal behavior? o_o

I'm pretty new to keeping beetle grubs too, but I have seen my stag beetle and figeater beetle larvae do the same thing - usually at night when the room is dark.

I think its probably normal then,im watching one do it now and it just digs back down into the substrate. Being an active little fella i guess. I guess i had it in my head Beetle Larvae just kind of sit in the dirt and eat.
