Beautiful Hottentotta Franzwerneri

Here is my Hottentotta Franzwerneri which IMO is one of the most beautiful species of scorpions. (there are others).

I love its almost midnight blue mesosoma, golden legs and the reticulated pedipalps.

This juvenile is growing so well, it's hard to believe I got this as a 2i baby and it has easily quadrupled in size.

This scorpion eats really well and is enjoying a second meal.

Yes IMO one of the most beautiful of all scorpions. Definitely loves to eat and is very bold, not afraid of me one bit.

Agreed this species is as bold as it is stunning, will stand their ground and be combative, and sting readily.

Oh yes! They have charged the side of the deli cup and stung at it many times, is a good thing the plastic is between me and my juvenile. My Leiurus Heberti is another bold one, immediately threat poses.
