Barychelidae on top

Yesterday i found my Gun-metal-grey trapdoor spider (prob.Barychelidae) outside his "tube" on top of the substrate spinning a web :?

anyone knows what it is up to ? (do they molt outside their burrow ?)

it was good to see the fellows full body again,... cause usually i only see some shiny eyes looking at me when i lift up his trapdoor

Trapdoors sometimes lay "guidlines" going out from the trap much like a true spider would use its web, to snare the vibrations of passing by food items. that possibly could be what it was doing?
