Barely moves, barely eats, seems scared

I got a new Phidippus Regius (I think male) last Tuesday.
He barely moves, sometimes sitting near the front door, sometimes on the roof. There's no nest, only straight line webbing across a few areas (like little dots connected). He did have a mealworm on Wednesday but hasn't eaten anything since (tried a mealworm yesterday and today, and tried some fruit flies today). I have taken out anything he doesn't eat within about 3 hours (too short?).

He doesn't seem curious at all, mostly scared. When I try to move him along with a paint brush (to get in the terrarium or to fix something) he turns to face it rather than happily moving along.

The enclosure is 20x17.5x25cm. I do have a heat mat but it's currently 26 degrees in the terrarium so it's off currently (thermostat programmed for 25-26).

It has been a bit of a rough ride for him getting here:

There were some mistakes with the original terrarium so I got him a temporary one for the day. Then they made another mistake so the next day I got a better one for him. All in all, 2 house moves for him.

The box he came in wasn't marked as carrying a live animal. I can only assume he may have been thrown about and got scared because of it.

There was no fly in his temporary tub during transit. May not be an issue since transit probably only took 2 days at most.

Is he still adjusting? Scared?

I assumed as much, but I didn't expect it to take this long. Here's a couple shots of the enclosure

Amazing 🤩 shaped container ! It’s pretty plump I wouldn’t worry about anything but hydration right now . How exactly do you water the jumpers? Last time I kept them, I let them free because they were wild caught, and I caught them outside. I didn’t have anything small enough to feed it..🤣

This is my first jumper and first spider but I have a fine mist spray bottle that I'll spray on the leaf and one side of the terrarium every 3-4 days (when it's time to feed). They get most of their hydration from their food but with him not eating I'm making sure to mist every couple days.

Ehh yeah that’s similar to watering slings . 😁 where did you get the container at custom?

I bought it on Amazon. The first one was a simple plastic box, but I saw this one was glass and loved the shape. Not sure if I can post external links but here's the one I bought (UK Amazon)

The only issue is that there is some spacing between the door and the frame. Phiddy is a bit too big to get through but smaller critters might.

Yeah I’m in USA anyways I don’t got money to buy one today . But it looks like it’s a great container for plants too lolz 😂… plastic shoebox is what I hunt down . For terrestrial tarantulas, Unfortunately, target discontinued both my favorites.🙁😡
Acrylic look nice, but they’re so expensive!
