Baby tarantula escaped

im new to tarantulas and I was taking out a .5 inch starburst baboon tarantula out of its vial and it ran i managed to put a lid on it how do I get it back in the container?

See? The answer for your question is pretty easy, my man. Search for the African lovely little bolt (that btw, at such size, wouldn't survive like Rambo in da jungle for days). Search. Search. Search. It's hard because there's millions of places for hide & disappear (I think about my room...) and the Theraphosidae is very little. But you have a chance.

My question, on the other hand, sadly not. To say "just play" isn't an option nor a chance :-/

Poster caught it under the deli lid and needs advice to get it back in the box.
carefully slide a sheet of paper or very thin cardboard under the lid.
Since the deli lid is opaque you might want to try a piece of clear acetate or transparent sheet so you can see it. Good luck

you probably shouldnt own a H mac if you dont know how to rehouse it....

id lift up the lid and try to get it into a vial by prodding with a paintbrush.
