Hi,

My C gracillis had babies about 9 days ago. I watched for a while to see when they would start coming off the moms back so I could separate them but I had to leave the area recently and now I am back and it appears they all left the moms back and are either hiding or buried in the main tank. Should I go through the tank and get them to try and raise them separately with the delicup method? That was my original plan but I wasn't sure if I should disturb the burrow or not. I do see the burrow entrance. I did some searching on this site and could not find any other similar situations. If there is another thread already answered please send the link if you can!

Thank you all!

It’s up to you on how you want to proceed. They will be fine either way. Generally when they leave the back and go on their own you’re good to separate. With that said, if you do decide to get them out, use a soft brush to expose them. Just a reminder not to use your hand ha.
