Okay so I have 2 Carolina Mantid Egg Sacs from a female I caught at the end of the summer. I was cleaning my room today and notice one of them hatched! I am so excited.

I did have babies (Chinese Mantis) around Christmas time, but they died on their first molt probably because of humidity.

Can anyone give me advice for my babes?

Also, I have them in with a live plant and in the soil their are some small worms, look like Nematode and some smaller things kind of like mites. Are those okay? Do I need to put them somewhere else?

Thanks!

I am keeping them warm and humidity up and feeding them some fruit flies.

they will eat each other if kept together. i know those white thinging in the soil but i forgot what they are called! you could try keeping them all in a huge tank and dump ALOT of fruit flies in the tank or even put s jar with a small culture in the tank.
