It took me forever to get one, but I finally got a 1/8" baby back in March. This cutie is finally up to about 1/2" and showing a little bit of color. It's so cute!! Today, it even tried to kick hair at a cricket.

I should also note: this is the single fastest spider I've ever owned. I can't get over the speed.

wow...I need another one!
I had one, but it turned out to be male (what's new?!) He went out on a breeding loan, and got munched w/o producing anything.
I need to look into them again!

Dude, did you get yours from Swifty?

That is where I got mine back in March.

Mine is growing quite fast. Here is a link to a thread that I posted last week in regards to mine. How does yours compare to mine as far as development is concerned? I can't tell in your picture.

Jon

p.s. I think that the P. cambridgi that I had was faster -- maybe.

I can't wait til Friday! I put in an order today and am getting both H.maculata AND L.cristata along with some other sweeties.:D

I've had a few H.maculata slings that were fast as lightning, but one that was about 4" legspan that really didn't ever "bolt". The only thing to compare was an incodent where I spooked an A. avic while moving it and it went about 3 feet in the blink of an eye... RIGHT UP MY ARM!! I sure was glad it was a docile species!!
