It's the colored mouth pieces that attach to their fangs. You can see Ichabod's really well in this pic. I'm also attaching a pic I found online that shows all the different colors jumper's chelicerae can be. Bolds are green or blue. I think Regals can be green or blue too but they can also be a really pretty pink or violet color. It will be neat to see what Sprout's look like as she gets older. I've never been to a reptile expo but it sounds fun. I'll have to look and see if we have anything like that in Washington. I would love to adopt a Regal someday.
The expos are great!! Sprouts is looking more like an orange pink right now so maybe when she’s bigger that’ll show more!

98107F1D-5B64-48F1-B775-CFA8B45C5009.jpeg Hey y’all! Sprout is doing well! Though I have a question. She seems to have some trouble sticking to the surface of her walls (as of literally 5 min ago) , I’ve got some wood in there so she shouldn’t have a problem getting around. Her stomach is also turning more and more grey so I’m guessing this is the start of a molt probably. Lmk!

There are multiple reasons they can lose traction on walls. But it doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong. Did you wash the enclosure recently?

Nope, she seems to be sticking better now actually. But with her stomach turning grey could that be a molt?

We have the same enclosure and my jumper sometimes has had trouble sticking to the walls too. I used to wipe down the acrylic walls with a microfiber towel but I've stopped doing that. I leave her webbing up and that seems to help. She doesn't fall or stumble as often now. She was also very clumsy before her last molt. I can't tell by looking at her if Sprout is ready to molt but my guess is probably. Little ones molt pretty regularly from my understanding. A few signs I've noticed before a molt is that they go from being really hungry and fattening up to refusing food and fasting. Ichabod also gets very lethargic before a molt. Hope that helps! Sprout is such a cutie! Her chelicerae look pink from the picture! So pretty!

Hi everyone! Sprout has been in her web for a couple days now, I’ve left food near her and she doesn’t seem interested. I’m not sure if she molting but it’s getting me nervous by how reclusive she’s being. Any advice?

Sounds like she's getting ready to molt. They usually fast before a molt. You can provide a drop or two of water near the entrance of her web (make sure to not get any on her). Beyond that, I recommend just leaving her be. If she's hungry, she will come out and you can offer her food. She'll probably stay in there until she molts. Give her time and don't worry. She's fine.

She molted!! Her legs are a lot longer and she’s looking skinny so I’ll offer food when she’s ready to eat! I’m so relieved haha! CCCC7544-D207-49B5-B0C7-08B246ABBEAB.jpeg

I just came home from school, and I can’t find her anywhere. I looked for any sign of webbing hoping that she couldn’t left a trail but nothing. I just tore apart her enclosure looking for her. I’m so unbelievably sad right now, I think she got out and I don’t know how the doors on the cage weren’t big enough for her. I’m sorry I have to share this bad news.

With the Zilla enclosures there are two very large holes that a small spider can easily slip through at the base of the doors when it is closed. Did you plug those up? She probably didn't go far. Check places that get good light during the day like the windowsills.

Don't beat yourself up. Do make sure to plug up those holes. They are big and I think even my full grown jumper can squeeze through them if she wanted to. I use a small amount of sensory putty (it's like silly putty) to plug up the holes on my enclosure. You can also use the extra rubber bands that come with the enclosure. I've attached photos. Start looking for your spider. Make the room really bright. Turn on all the lights. That might lure her out if it's dark or getting dark. Also, look up in the corners of the room. They're arboreal so she'll try to get up high. Jumpers also like to hide behind pictures that you have on the wall. Don't give up. You can find her.

Any update OP on if she showed up?
She showed up! After 3 days I’ve got her. I was with my friend in my room and I look on the ceiling and she’s just chilling there. I’ve attached 2 photos, I’m trying to get her to eat right now since her butt is so small. I also attached a photo of her on my roof lol (she’s the small black dot). I’m super relieved and patched up those holes IMMEDIATELY

I'm so glad she was found! I was hopeful she would show up on a ceiling or wall since they're a pretty active and mobile spider, I'm happy to hear she cooperated and is home with a meal!
