B. Smithi Mating

I have a 4.5-5" B. Smithi Female (pretty sure its female, i should take some vent shots to be sure). I am waiting until the next moult and then I want to breed her. What steps should I take when introducing a male into the enclosure? Is mating peaceful? Just need some sage advice, it is a beginner spider and would be a great beginner breeding experience.
