TL;DR is internet speak for "thread too long , didn't read it.". Since it turned into a Convo about smoking and I've never smoked so i have nothing to contribute.

I have a smith that regularly climbs the side walls. Doesn't affect her eating or health, so I don't sweat it.

My own b smithi has been doing this for a couple of weeks now. She still eats fine and in fact is chowing down on a roach as we speak. I believe my girl does it because she is trying to get away from the Loud vibrations of my neighbors slamming their doors. I have found that putting a sheet over where I have both enclosures seems to keep her from climbing so much.

My girl currently at the top of her enclosure. I have also seen her completely on the side. I think she is taking lessons from my Avic who is right next to her.
