My small B. lateralis colony has finally started producing Oothecae. They are housed in a tote with egg crates. Should I move the oothecae to a different container that I can control moisture in? The roach bin I occasionally mist but stays relatively dry to prevent mold. Thanks ahead of time

You can remove a few so you can control everything, but you can also leave a few in the bin to see if they hatch on their own. That way you'll know if your conditions in the bin are good for the ooths as well.

I only have 1 or 2 right now. It's a very small colony of about 25 individuals. And to hatch them they just need some warmth and humidity to keep them from dryimg out This is my first roach species that lay ooths.
