Twice now, I have caught my B. hamorii produce "water" droplets from its mouth. I've caught this on the nanny cam I have set up for her. Both times have happened at night.
The first time (series of photos below) the water drop forms and just falls to the substrate. No grooming or other movement noticed.
The second time (the two videos below) was last night where a couple droplets formed. This time, her chelicerae were moving around a bit, but she didn't seem to be grooming her pedipalps or legs.
Anyone know if this is water? Venom?
Any reason why they do this?
Any reason to be concerned?
